Used to visit this lively pub back in the very early nineties. I was a young scrote then and we used to come here to buy hash from other young scrotes before heading off into Manchester for a night out that would always be inevitably ruined by gangs of thugs from some shithole or other and spend the night tripping on the canalside wondering what it was all about.
used to drink here from about 1976 to when i moved from the area in the early 80s it was an ok place when jed (ex marine) used to run it it started going to the dogs when all the jobs left the area
